Judith Dennis, MD

American Board of Emergency Medicine

Education

Dr. Dennis graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science.  She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Medicine at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA.

Professional Experience

In 1990 Dr. Dennis moved to Atlanta and began working as Assistant Professor for Emory University’s Department of Surgery.  She then moved on to serve as Supervising Attending Physician at Grady Memorial Hospital for the next 8 years.  After Grady, Dr. Dennis continued her services as an Emergency Room Physician until 2005 when she turned her attention to Urgent Care.

Free Time

Dr. Dennis now lives in Roswell with her husband, 2 children, 4 cats and a million fish.  She is very active in the local school system and with the local rabbit rescue. Whenever she has a few minutes to spare, you’ll probably find her in her garden.

Andrea Kovacic, MD
Andrea Kovacic, MDPhysician

Education

Originally from the Midwest, Dr. Kovacic earned a Bachelor of Arts in Microbiology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She earned her medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio and then completed the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Family Medicine Residency Program at Fairview in Cleveland.

Professional Experience

Dr. Kovacic has practiced Urgent Care Medicine in Georgia since the completion of her formal medical training in 2005.  She is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a valuable member of the RUCC team.

Free Time

Dr. Kovacic lives in neighboring, Cobb County.  She spends most of her free time with her husband and 2 young children.

Scott Hearn, PA-C
Scott Hearn, PA-CPhysician Assistant

Education

Beginning as a paramedic at the age of 20, Mr. Hearn worked his way through school and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Texas State University.  Later, he obtained his first Master’s degree at the University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas.  While completing his graduate degree he also earned the rank of Assistant Professor while teaching at the University of Texas Health Science Center.  Mr. Hearn taught paramedics, medical students, medical residents, Army Special Forces (Green Berets) and Navy SEALS.  Consequently, he was honored with a commendation from the Special Forces Command at Fort Bragg, NC.  In 1997, Mr. Hearn moved with his wife and two daughters to Atlanta in order to attend Emory University.  While there, he earned his PA and Masters of Medical Science degree from Emory in 1999, graduating with highest honors and achieving a 99th percentile score on the PA National Board Exam.

Professional Experience

Since that time he has worked in Emergency Medicine in the Northside, Emory and Piedmont hospital systems.

Free Time

Mr. Hearn has very strong ties with his family and is an avid animal lover.

Stacey Paulin, PA-C

Education

A longtime lover of the arts and sciences, Mrs. Evans-Paulin first pursued her artistic ambitions, culminating in a Bachelor of Music from Fisk University in 2002.  In 2012 she earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Seton Hill University in Pennsylvania.

Professional Experience

Since then, Stacey has worked in Emergency Medicine for North Georgia Medical Center, Piedmont Healthcare, and Newton Medical Center. We were excited when she decided to join us in January.
